Tomorrow starts the first week of Lent. In one of my reflections, the man states that the word Lent means Springtime, a time when the days “lengthen”. It is the time of renewal, growth. Hopefully, a time for growth in my spiritual life. In the gospel, Jesus dines with tax collectors and people ask why. He says he wasn’t sent for the righteous, but for sinners.
