February 23: the little yellow bird we know and love
No, it’s not Tweety! It is Woodstock. From the beloved cartoon, Peanuts. Knitted with the yellow I received in a kit for a turtle for Christmas from Bill. I used US 0 knitting needles and I put wire in the legs and tail. This pattern is from a special addition to a magazine issue, Knit Now, issue 133. I downloaded it from Pocketmags. The whole gang is in the addition and I plan to do Snoopy, Woodstock, and Snoopy’s dog house later this month. The top of the head was changed to add black yarn like the pictures of the character.
