Today’s toy is a knitted and crocheted bird. I am still trying to use up the plush yarn from Joann. Since I am running out of the red, I striped both coconut and chili pepper colors for the bird. The body is knitted. Then the wings, beak, feet, and head piece are crocheted. I made up this design, but I will not have the pattern since it is such thick yarn.

Today’s toy is a crocheted candy holder in the shape of an eyeball. Design by Craftingintx. Using Bernat blanket yarn and a 4.5 mm hook, this looks like an eye. Black, then purple, then white. I probably won’t make many of these. I added red on the last round with spike stitches to represent veins.
Today’s toy is a bluebird of happiness. Knitted on US 4 needles (3.5 mm) with Red Heart super saver country blue. I used scrap yarn to embellish it with flowers. It is hanging in my entryway. It makes me happy! The pattern is by Sara Elizabeth Kellner.
