March 29, 2024 Good Friday
Today we experience what Jesus did for us, he died for our sins and our salvation. Amen! In the first reading, Isaiah describes the suffering of Jesus. Jesus is the fulfillment of all the promises of the Old Testament. Today my church will make a way of the cross. The second reading is from Hebrews, “Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered;
and when he was made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him.” He gospel is from John and is the suffering and crucifixion of Jesus. The mass at church is at 3 pm which is the time the church reflects on the death of Jesus. I pray that I can grieve and be overwhelmed by what Jesus did for me, a sinner. Amen!
