April 8, 2024 Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord
Today’s first reading is a foretelling of Mary’s birth to Jesus. In the second reading, Paul explained that animal sacrifices were no longer needed since we had the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus’ body for our sins. In the gospel, the story of the angel appearing to Mary telling her that she will have a son, Jesus. It is still the Easter season! Amen! Alleluia! Jesus is risen!
