April 9, 2024 Tuesday of the Second Week of Easter
Today’s first reading is an account of the beginning of the church. People believed in the apostles, Jesus, and the Bible. They sold their possessions and gave to the “church”.
In the gospel, Jesus I spoke to Nicodemus. He said that those who do not listen to those things of the world and believe, how can they believe those things from heaven? Jesus also said “And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.” He is speaking to a leader of the Jews and refers to Moses. I love that. He is the Word! It is still Easter season! Amen! Alleluia! Jesus is risen!
