April 22, 2024 Monday of the Fourth Week of Easter
Today’s first reading tells of how Peter began preaching to the gentiles, the uncircumcised. He saw visions from heaven and was called to reach all people. He proclaimed the good news to all.
In the gospel, Jesus continued his discussion of the shepherd and flock, but this time He is the gate to Heaven. He talked about those that try to jump the fence, that they are thieves. Enter through the gate. I would rather have Jesus let me in.
It is still the Easter season! Amen! Alleluia! Jesus is risen!
