April 26: otter and elephant

Today I present two toys since I missed yesterday. HARD day at work… Today’s first toy is a crocheted otter. This design is from Rico design part of a crochet along releasing free patterns every Friday. I used Hobbii 8/4 cotton and some orange from a mandala cake from Lion Brand. This was a fun pattern. I put a Bobby pin in the fishing pole.

Today’s second toy is a knitted elephant. I designed this using a picture of the crocheted one from studiomadelaine.com I made that crocheted elephant with Hobby Lobby’s adore-a-ball. I also made the knitted one with that yarn. Love that yarn! Not many colors though, sadly.

March 2: bulky pig

Today’s toy is a knitted pig, but I crocheted all of the extra parts. The pig was knitted as a ball and then I crocheted four legs, a snout, ears, and a curly tail. Used Bernat velvet in quiet pink and Big Twist plush in black. I am pleased with this toy, very squishy.
