April 30, 2024 Tuesday of Fifth Week of Easter

Today’s first reading is Paul’s ministry. He is stoned and left for dead by the Jews, but he gets up and moves on. He travels to many places converting many gentiles.

In the gospel, Jesus said “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you.” The priest says this during the mass. It reminds me when I heard Scott Hahn’s conversion story, that he was against the Catholic religion until he actually went to a mass and noticed how the entire mass is based on scripture and he kept hearing different passages from the Bible. I think I have read the Bible from start to finish 4 times and each year, I am still amazed by the verses that escape me and where they present themselves in my life. I really need peace in my life right now. Amen!
This is still the Easter season! Amen! Alleluia! Jesus is risen!
