May 4, 2024 Saturday of the Fifth Week of Easter

Today’s first reading is an account of Paul traveling with Timothy through parts of Turkey. He is proclaiming the gospel. He is telling others about Jesus.

In the gospel, Jesus said he has chosen us. He said that the world hates us and that we are not of the world. He also said they will persecute you like they persecuted Him. Tough times being a Christian, called to be something better! Amen!

It is still the Easter season! Amen! Alleluia! Jesus is risen!
