Today’s toy is a crocheted octopus. Design by Little Crochet Farm. Her design is quite small. Using Bernat velvet plus and a 6 mm hook, mine is much larger. I made this on commission for a baby shower. Pink was the color requested. Also requested was no safety eyes, so I embroidered them on.

Today’s toys are crocheted items for Halloween. Design by CraftinginTx. There are a jack-o’-lantern, a black cat, and a ghost. Using Bernat Blanket, Red Heart, and a 4.5 mm hook, these were fun, small, easy. I stitched on the cat’s face.

Today’s item is a crocheted car ornament of eyeballs. Design by Craftingintx. Using Red Heart and a 3 mm hook, these are simple to make. I used the nylon cord from Red Heart to make the veins and string. Very effective.

Today’s toy is a crocheted elf doll. Design by the left handed crocheter. Using Big Twist, Red Heart, Hobbii rainbow cotton, and a 3 mm hook, this was fun to make. My trick for jogless joins was recorded but it wasn’t good. I will probably make a boy elf and record again.

Today’s item is a crocheted car ornament for Halloween. Design by Craftingintx. Using different acrylic yarns and both 2.25 and 3 mm hooks, I made a pumpkin, ghost, cat, and spider to hang off of a planter. I think it would look better with DMC floss. Maybe, I will try that next year.

Today’s toy is a crocheted frog. Design by Sweet softies. Using Red Heart speckle and a 2.5 mm hook, this frog turned out small enough to be a keychain. I will make some using plush yarn so they will be bigger.
