January 15: land turtle

I had some green yarn in three colors and I had the mustard color, so I decided to try making a turtle. I started with the shell, increased to 30 and then increased to 36 in front loop only, then two rounds sc, then the crab stitch. Then I picked up for the belly of the turtle. I made four legs and sewed them on, made the head and tail and attached them. Added eyes and smile. This was acrylic scrap yarn and I used a 3mm hook.
