Today’s toy is a bunny. I knitted a bulb shape, larger on the bottom tapering to the top. It is similar to a bunny I knitted earlier this month (https://craftingintx.com/2024/01/january-7-bunny/)
Knitted with Mainstays chenille chunky with US 8 knitting needles (5 mm). I then thought it would be fun to add fabric to the ears and the bottom. I used the flexible cutting mats as forms and cut out the fabric from a fat quarter I had. Similar to English Paper Piecing (EPP) the fabric was wrapped around the forms and stitched. The forms are still inside. Floral stones were put between the fabric and knitting on the bottom of the toy. I enjoyed making the face.
