January 8, 2024: The baptism of the Lord

Such a great celebration today. I did write about this on Saturday since the gospel is the same, Mark 1:7-11. I am sure all were amazed to see the descent of the Holy Spirit and God saying, “You are my beloved Son; with You I am well pleased.” I am anticipating the day that I will be in the presence of the trinity.
I do want to mention that I do not enjoy when the Catholic Church has multiple readings for the day. I don’t keep focus when there are so many messages. There wasn’t a common theme.
