Today’s toy is another love bug, but this time I crocheted the back and made it smaller, more like a ladybug. The knitted one looked like a red and black turtle 🤣 I still used the red yarn with sparkle, the white cotton and the Big Twist black yarn and a 3 mm hook. The back was smaller, so I stitched the heart on the back and didn’t use a chain. With both love bugs, I just slipped stitches from the center out to do the legs and head instead of cutting the yarn and reattaching.. The yarn is black and not noticeable.
