Today’s toy is a knitted doll. I have made many Izzy bear dolls, but this one is a girl doll with a skirt. The yarns are Big Twist black, Lion Brand Mandala in Nifflers just the purple, Yarn Bee Soft Secret in garnet for the hair. Don’t know the beige or white, but they are both cotton. I liked the way you pick up stitches for the skirt, similar to surface crochet. The hair was fun to make.
Today’s toy is a knitted chicken from Esther Braithwaite. I saw the picture on Pinterest and had to make it. Using my soft secret leftovers and a 0 (2 mm) knitting needle it was a quick make as are all of her patterns. I plan to make the mallard duck as well.

Today’s toy is a knitted owl. This design is mine. I made this one a little smaller. Using Big twist cotton and size 2 needles, this pattern is so quick. I really enjoyed the speckled yarn.
Today’s toy is a knitted elephant. Using Big Twist in purple marl and a 2 mm needles, this pattern was fun to make. I love the trunk being raised. Floral stones are in the feet to help it stand. Love the color!
