Today’s first reading tells of Saul/Paul preaching and even some wanted to kill him, but the church kept growing through the Holy Spirit.
In the second reading, 1 Jn, we are told to obey the commandments and to love one another.
In the gospel , Jesus says He is the vine and we are the branches. God prunes the vine and throws the branches that do not bear fruit into the fire. Hopefully I am bearing fruit for Jesus! Amen!
It is still the Easter season! Amen! Alleluia! Jesus is risen!
