Today’s first reading is regarding the newly converted Gentiles, what to do with them. Some were insisting on circumcision. The reading doesn’t say what actually happened, but when new ideas are introduced within religion, there will be the ones who don’t like change.
In the gospel, John 15, we hear again that Jesus is the vine and we are the branches. I guess the Lord wanted me to hear and read these words again. I am struggling right now for my purpose on this planet. The commentary today said to strive for holiness. Big ask! Amen!
