Today’s first reading continues the discussion of the gentiles needing to be circumcised. Peter said that they should focus on the main laws to follow, “to avoid pollution from idols, unlawful marriage, the meat of strangled animals, and blood.”
In the gospel, Jesus tells us to remain in His love by keeping the commandments. Just as He remains in His Father’s love. He also said “I have told you this so that my joy might be in you and your joy might be complete.” Amen! Joy!
This is still the Easter season! Amen! Alleluia! Jesus is risen!
