Today’s toy is a crocheted chicken. Design by Sweet softies. Using Mainstays anti-pilling acrylic, Red Heart Speckle, and a 2.5 mm crochet hook, I used a swirl granny square pattern. I always forget the tail feathers. After taking pictures, I had to go back to add them. I like this pattern because you can make any design into two squares and make a chicken. This speckle yarn is called black light and looks good with the black acrylic yarn.
