April 3, 2024 Wednesday in the Octave of Easter
Today’s first reading is the first account of the apostles healing through the name of Jesus. It was a crippled beggar outside the temple and people instantly recognized him as the one who couldn’t walk, but was walking. Amen! Alleluia! Christ is risen! Easter miracles! The psalm today uses my word of the year, proclaim all his wondrous deeds. I hope I am doing that. In the gospel is the famous story of the road to Emmaus. Two disciples walk with Jesus without knowing Him until he sits with them at dinner and blesses the bread and gives it to them like the last supper. I pray that my eyes will be opened to what Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and God does in my life! Amen!
