May 26: knitted bird
Today’s toy is a knitted owl. This design is mine. I made this one a little smaller. Using Big twist cotton and size 2 needles, this pattern is so quick. I really enjoyed the speckled yarn.

Today’s toy is a knitted bird of happiness. Design by Sara Elizabeth Kellner. Using Knit Picks stroll in red and 2.25 mm needles, I thought I would make a red one. Love this pattern. This could be turned into a Christmas ornament with embroidery too.

Different yarns were used, just any white, pink, red, or purple I had on hand. Sometimes I used…
